87th Goodyear Cotton Bowl Classic

As Art Director for the 87th Goodyear Cotton Bowl Classic, I led the development of a fully integrated campaign designed to honor the legacy of one of college football’s most historic events while evolving its visual identity for a modern audience.

Rooted in the concept of “The Eternal Crossroad,” the system draws from the idea that football is a cultural thread where yard lines, bloodlines, and timelines converge. Inspired by the Cotton Bowl trophy, the visual language uses layered, thread-like forms to represent the intersection of teams, fans, and generations within an ever-expanding tradition.

From early concept through execution, I directed the creation of a comprehensive design system that scaled across more than 800+ deliverables, spanning social, digital, print, environmental, and in-stadium experiences. The work extended beyond static assets into real-time, live event coverage, with our team capturing and deploying content throughout bowl week and on game day to keep fans engaged in the moment.

The result was a cohesive, high-energy brand presence across every touchpoint from ,citywide signage to social storytelling, reinforcing the Cotton Bowl Classic’s position as one of the most anticipated games in college football while strengthening engagement and fan connection.
