Art Directors Club of Tulsa

Season 55 “Camp ADCT” Design System

As Design Director for Art Directors Club of Tulsa Season 55, I developed a comprehensive design system built around the theme “Camp ADCT.”

The goal was to create a seasonal identity that felt welcoming, energetic, and community-driven, while still celebrating the craft and creativity of Tulsa’s design scene. Inspired by the nostalgia and spirit of summer camp, the concept reframes the club as a place to gather, explore, and grow creatively.

The system draws from familiar camp visual language including trail maps, badges, signage, and outdoor iconography, reinterpreted through a bold, graphic lens. A vibrant color palette, topographic textures, and illustrated elements work together to create a playful but cohesive world that could flex across a wide range of applications.

I led the development of a fully integrated system spanning event promotions, speaker announcements, social media, environmental graphics, and print collateral. Each touchpoint was designed to feel like part of a larger experience, from “camp badges” representing member benefits to illustrated maps that guide users through the season’s programming.

The result was a dynamic and highly adaptable identity that brought consistency and personality to the entire season, reinforcing ADCT’s role as a hub for connection, inspiration, and creative exploration within the Tulsa community.
