Graphex 56 Awards

Art Directors Club of Tulsa

As Director of design for ADCT Season 56, I designed the Graphex awards to embody the season theme of Lore celebrating storytelling as the foundation of creative work.

Drawing inspiration from medieval manuscripts, castles, and mythic imagery, the trophies translate narrative into form. Each piece is constructed from layered, engraved acrylic panels that build dimensional scenes, unfolding visually like a pop-up book.

The use of depth and transparency reflects the idea that great stories, and great design, are built in layers. As viewers move around the award, new details reveal themselves, creating an experience that mirrors the discovery found in storytelling.

Produced for the Graphex 56 ceremony at the Tulsa City-County Library, the awards honor not only the work itself, but the stories and designers behind it.
